InTension is expanding its outdoor program

Dear members,

Good news! InTension is expanding its program with outdoor Spinning and Fitness lessons! Even though we have to remain closed for the foreseeable future, we will add these outdoor lessons on the square in front of InTension to our online live lessons and Bootcamp trainings starting from 1st of April. These outdoor Spinning and outdoor Fitness classes will be taught by our trusted instructors.

The outdoor Fitness lessons are intensive 30-minute Total Body workouts based on functional exercises. They resemble the well known InTensity lesson. The lessons are open to everyone to train at his or her own level. For our 55 + group we are also organizing an adapted outdoor 55 Fit Fitness lesson on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:45 – 11:15. We will also offer an outdoor Youth Fitness lesson on the square twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays from 17:30 – 18:15.

During the outdoor Spinning lessons on our spinning bikes, the participants receive headphones. This way they can hear the music and the instructions of the instructor. These 30-minute classes can be perfectly combined with our outdoor Fitness classes.

Of course these lessons will be conducted within the frameworks outlined by the government on the basis of the RIVM guidelines. It is important that you stay at home if you have complaints such as a fever, flu, cold and / or other Corona symptoms. We ask that you avoid physical contact with the instructor and the other participants and to keep a minimum distance of 1.5 meters. It is mandatory to bring your own towel and something to drink. There is no room for changing and visiting the toilet is unfortunately not possible. We use the ‘come & go’ system for the flow of these lessons: make sure that you are present on the square just before the start of the lesson and immediately leave the square after the cleaning all the materials you used, so that the next group can start right away with no delay.

You can only participate in our outdoor lessons if you reserve through our online reservation system. We are happy to share with you that our new version of this reservation system can be used starting Monday March 29th through a cool new appwe will be using! You will be able to make reservations for our group lessons via your own account (and cancel if necessary) and also view your personal details. From the same date, our current reservation system will be off air and so you will have to use this new app to reserve the lessons in our outdoor group lesson schedule. If you have not yet received a personal email with the link for downloading the new app and your new login details on Monday, March 29th, or if you have any questions about the use of the new app, send an email to

In the future when the gym opens back up you can also use the app to schedule your fitness appointments (fitness test, explanation schedules, etc) with one of our instructors, track your fitness results, watch online workouts and much more! We will update you more about this when the time comes.

If the outdoor lessons on the square cannot take place due to weather conditions, you will receive an email no later than 08:30 letting you know about the morning lessons and around 17:00 about the evening lessons. So keep a close eye on your inbox if you are unsure whether or not the lesson will go ahead.

Because the outdoor lessons are dependent on the weather conditions, we will also continue to offer a number of online live lessons over the coming period. Are you not receiving invitations for these every day? Send us an e-mail at You can also review our online lessons at any time. To do this, press the “Yes, I want to participate” button in the invitation email of the relevant lesson and you can view it again.

View our full schedule for the online live lessons and the outdoor group lessons starting 1st of May.

All online live lessons and outdoor group lessons will also continue on all upcoming holidays (Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday)!

We hope to see you soon!

Active greetings,

The InTension Team.
